What you take for
granted, we take seriously. Providing water supply and treatment, electricity
generation and grids, sewage treatment and disposal, access roads, fences,
security and communication links are all part of our unique expertise.
 We have a formula to determine the amount of water the camp will require per day and we advise and quote the production team on this, including all equipment, plumbing, transport and labour expenses. We can either tap off from existing water source or deliver water from the closest supply.  The size of camp and services supplied will determine the electricity usage. We either tap of existing Eskom supply or we generate our own. We supply equipment, labour & transport. The camp needs to run independently of production.  If client needs to build camp in location with no 2 x 4 access transport is a major cost factor. Often equipment has to be off loaded and ferried the last distance to the camp. Our quote includes crew transport, service vehicles and transport of equipment to and from location as well as insurance of equipment in transit.  The method of disposal for run off from showers, basins and kitchen, as well as run off from toilets, will depend on eco sensitivity of location and is discussed in depth with the owner of the location. We can plumb our camp to an existing sewage system if available, or we supply septic tanks, transport tanks, sludge pumps to create own closed system. Our quote includes all equipment, plumbing, transport to dispose of sewerage & labour expenses.  It is possible to install phones in some, or all of the tents. This can be linked to a Telkom system or to a few dedicated cell lines with portable phones. In really remote area's we can supply cell phone antennae's or satellite radios'.  We assess the access roads to the camp which often deteriorate with use, necessitating 4 x 4 transport. During the recce we will make recommendations as to actions the production can take to limit the impact of vehicles on the access roads. In conjunction with unit we control access to the camp, limiting the deterioration of roads, dust and possible security breaches. |
